Parker in Brazil


In 2021 Parker completes 50 years of operation in Brazil. In 1971, a small rubber sealing operation in the capital of São Paulo began its activities in the country, establishing an O'rings production line. In 1977, Parker Brasil already manufactured some models of connections, valves and hydraulic pumps. The purchase of Schrader Bellows made Parker a leader in the supply of pneumatic technology products during this period.
In 1987 Parker made the acquisition of Irlemp - a traditional company in the filtration market - contributing to the development in the country. 2006 was another milestone in the history of Parker Brasil, when the company inaugurates the new plant of the Filtration Division, in the city of São José dos Campos (SP).
In 2017, the acquisition of the company Clarcor is announced, increasing the portfolio of solutions for filtration. Just 2 years later, LORD Corporation is acquired with several technologies operating in different industries developing highly reliable adhesives, coatings, motion control devices and sensor technology that significantly reduce risks and improve the performance of the final product.
