Parker Spotlights P1M Series Axial Piston Pump at IFPE 2020

Open Circuit Medium Pressure Axial Piston Pump – Designed for Mobile. Built to Perform.

Marysville, Ohio, February 10, 2020 - The Hydraulic Pump and Power Systems Division of Parker Hannifin Corporation, the global leader in motion and control technologies, has announced it will feature the P1M Series Mobile Open Circuit Medium Pressure Axial Piston Pump during the International Fluid Power Exposition (IFPE) trade show at Las Vegas Convention Center, Las Vegas, NV from March 10-14.

The P1M series was developed specifically with the mobile equipment manufacturer in mind. P1M delivers high speed, efficiency, reduction in costs, and extends pump life in a robust, compact envelope. It will also fit between the transmission and chassis making it easier to install in tight spaces.

The P1M features a patented inlet and optimized port plate design, which increases speeds and improves durability, standard dual shaft seals for wet PTO mounting, and extensive, modular control options, which enable complete circuit customization. Its nine piston design also reduces pressure ripples.

The P1M product family includes seven standard displacement (cc) options: 28, 45, 54, 65, 75, 90 and 105, and features 280 bar continuous pressure rating for 28 through 75 and 310 continuous bar pressure for 90 and 105. The P1M has standard SAE mounting flanges and shafts, as well as versatile port block options (end port, side port and side port with thru drive). The thru drive version will allow for full torque stackable pumps to decrease the overall space claim required to operate multiple functions.

The P1M Series can be further optimized by using Electronic Displacement Control (EDC), which improves machine handling and productivity by supplying the exact amount of power the exact moment it is needed. The EDC reduces wasted energy when it encounters varying load sizes by adjusting displacement to prevent engine drooping and stalling. Other control options include pressure comp, load sense, remote comp and electronic unload.

Once every three years, IFPE in conjunction with CONEXP-CON/AGG, the largest international gathering place for the construction industries, brings together 2.8 million plus net square feet of exhibits and more than 128,000 fluid power professionals. Visit Parker Hannifin at booth #S80245 in South Hall 3.

About Hydraulic Pump and Power Systems

A global technology leader, the Parker Hydraulic Pump and Power Systems Division brings nearly a century of combined experience. Our division is the result of the Parker piston pump business’s acquisition of Denison Hydraulics in 2004 and now our merger with the Parker Oildyne Division. Since before WWII, Denison products have been excelling in military test stand and shipboard hydraulic applications. This acquisition allowed us to enhance the design, manufacturing and application of piston products in both open- and closed-circuit applications. With the addition of Oildyne, we have extended our offering to include the quality compact hydraulic products and systems the division has been pioneering since 1955. Like the miniature piston pumps Oildyne manufactures, it’s been a smart fit.
