New Electronic Control Concept Defines New Standards in Efficiency, Stability and Responsiveness
Marysville, Ohio, February 10, 2020 - The Hydraulic Pump and Power Systems Division of Parker Hannifin Corporation, the global leader in motion and control technologies, has announced it will feature the Electronic High Pressure Mobile Pump – Series eP2/eP3 during the International Fluid Power Exposition (IFPE) trade show at Las Vegas Convention Center, Las Vegas, NV from March 10-14.
The Parker eP2/eP3 Series are variable, swashplate piston pumps with closed loop displacement control designed for operation in open circuit, mobile hydraulic systems.
Designed to meet the specific demands of heavy duty mobile applications, eP2/eP3 features an optimized envelope and a unique port layout. It also offers a cost-effective direct mount, which are typical on mobile transmissions.
The availability of both a standard (P2) and a supercharged, internally boosted version (P3), allow for high flow operation at varying inlet conditions.
With continuous pressure ratings of up to 350 bar and displacements from 75 to 145 cc/rev, eP2/eP3 provides a high power density and enables the downsizing of mobile machinery.
Other features include:
- Increased volumetric efficiency and reduced power consumption over standard hydro-mechanical compensators.
- An electronic displacement feedback that increases accuracy, system response, and condition monitoring/troubleshoot abilities.
- Hardware for electronic pressure limitation, torque control and speed compensation.
Once every three years, IFPE in conjunction with CONEXP-CON/AGG, the largest international gathering place for the construction industries, brings together 2.8 million plus net square feet of exhibits and more than 128,000 fluid power professionals. Visit Parker Hannifin at booth #S80245 in South Hall 3.

About Hydraulic Pump and Power Systems
A global technology leader, the Parker Hydraulic Pump and Power Systems Division brings nearly a century of combined experience. Our division is the result of the Parker piston pump business’s acquisition of Denison Hydraulics in 2004 and now our merger with the Parker Oildyne Division. Since before WWII, Denison products have been excelling in military test stand and shipboard hydraulic applications. This acquisition allowed us to enhance the design, manufacturing and application of piston products in both open- and closed-circuit applications. With the addition of Oildyne, we have extended our offering to include the quality compact hydraulic products and systems the division has been pioneering since 1955. Like the miniature piston pumps Oildyne manufactures, it’s been a smart fit.
