May 2018 - Parker Hannifin, the global leader in motion and control technologies, has launched a new integrated drying and filtration system specifically designed for use in ATEX (ATmosphères EXplosibles) zoned applications. CDAS ATEX belongs to the CDAS (Clean Dry Air System) family of products which Parker introduced in early 2017 and has been modified to match the strict requirements of ATEX environments. The new system replaces the PNEUDRI MIDIplus (DMO) range of modular compressed air dryers.
The plug-and-play solution, which is ATEX 2014/34/EU (EX II 2 GD T6) certified, utilises state-of-the-art technology with full pneumatic control. CDAS ATEX is highly cost-effective and has low running and maintenance costs. The air quality is third-party certified according to ISO 8573-1 (Class 2.2.2 as standard, Class 2.1.2. and Class 2.3.2 as an option); the filters are verified according to ISO12500-1, ISO8573-5 (oil) and ISO8573-4 (particulate); the dryers are tested to ISO 7183.
