The new hose series addresses different low and high-pressure applications in extreme cold environments
Lampertheim, Germany, 13TH October 2020- Parker Hannifin, the global leader in motion and control technologies, has extended its range of low temperature hoses to include a new thermoplastic hose range that is able to deliver excellent flexibility and low length change in temperatures as low as -56°C. The 563LT range offers a constant working pressure of 210 bar for all sizes -06, -08 and -10 with a bend radius of 64 up to 102mm and hoses which is available in different lengths.
The new hose series, fabricated with a proprietary blend of materials specifically formulated to withstand repetitive flexing in cold temperatures, prevents hoses from cracking in extreme movement situations paired with extremely low temperatures. Excelling in cold climates leads to reduced change-outs, reduced warranty maintenance and lower replacement costs for customers.
The 563LT hose range has a very small bend radius and is available in twin-line and multi-line bonded configurations. These latter assembly options simplify the installation process, allow for smooth operation and improve overall strength and stability of the hose, eliminating many of the problems that usually lead to hose failure.
Finally, the new thermoplastic hoses are suitable for use in a variety of different low and high-pressure applications, ranging from forklift and aerial lift equipment to commercial freezers in harsh winter conditions. The 563LT hose series is the ideal solution for low-pressure fluid transfer, over-the-sheave and steering lines, and high-pressure hydraulic applications.
