New Britain, CT, August 6, 2015 – The Fluid Control Division of Parker Hannifin Corporation, the global leader in motion and control technology, announces the release of its PA Series Angle Body Valves. These compact valves provide high flow rates for aggressive industrial and process applications. They can be used with gases, liquids, steam, slurry solutions, or corrosive media at temperatures between 14°F and 356°F. These valves are available in sizes ranging from 3/8" to 2-1/2" with operating pressures up to 232 psi. Parker offers the valve body in either 304 or 316 Stainless Steel while the actuator is available in 304 Stainless Steel or Aluminum.
"The Stainless Steel options make the PA Series exceptionally durable for applications in steam supply, water treatment, mining, and particularly for the rigorous wash-down environment of the food and beverage market," explains Gary Pierko, Product Manager for Parker's Fluid Control Division. "Parker works alongside its customers in these industrial markets to develop versatile solutions that help their systems perform more efficiently, more cleanly."
The 2-Way PA Series Angle Body Valves function normally closed or normally open and also offer an optional dampened closing Anti-Water Hammer design. Mountable in any position, they provide tight shut-off and long service life. These Parker valves meet Pressure Equipment Directive 97/23/EC and conform to the terms of the 94/9/CE directive specific to non-electrical equipment for use within potentially explosive environments.
"We designed these valves to be tough and we've tested them to perform well in harsh conditions. We have several models that we can ship next day, so not only does Parker have the high performance valves that these industries need, but we can deliver them quickly and support them globally," explains Pierko.
