On the stand, Parker will be showcasing the MGV 950 - low inertia, high-speed servo motor with dynamic acceleration which is ideal for a range of simulation and test bench applications along with the compact GVM PMAC (Permanent Magnet AC) motor - an efficient electric motor that enables cleaner and more economical applications across a variety of platforms. The MGV 950 is a low inertia, brushless synchronous, high-speed servo motor with permanent magnets and dynamic acceleration. Designed specifically for test bench applications - requiring compact and reliable solutions without compromising high performance - the MGV 950 has 400VAC windings, power ratings to 500kW, and is capable of speeds of 45000 min-1.

It is ideal for a range of simulation and test bench applications in many automotive or aeronautical component test rigs (diesel engines, starters, pumps, alternators, gearboxes) and is highly responsive with exceptional dynamic performance., MGV motors are ideally suited to the needs of simulation testing e.g. speed in urban cycle or motor racing, speed acyclism of an internal combustion engine, etc.

The compact GVM PMAC (Permanent Magnet AC) motor is an efficient electric motor designed for use in electric and hybrid vehicles that enables cleaner and more economical applications.

The torque density and speed capabilities of Parker Permanent Magnet AC motors (PMAC) combined with a voltage-matched inverter provide breakthrough performance on a variety of platforms. Some of the features and benefits of the GVM PMAC include high efficiency, compactness (high power density), robustness and reliability, direct mounting options, operating voltages from 24 to 800 VDC, a construction using rare earth magnets to allow high-temperature operation, a patented cooling system and availability as a kit for better mechanical integration.
