Parker’s Lokomec Remote Control Valves Provide Accurate Control in the Harshest of Environments

HOUSTON, May 3, 2010 – Lokomec Remote Control Valves (RCV) are designed especially for hydraulic remote controls in tough marine conditions. Accurate controls, according to different curves, make the valve suitable for a variety of applications.

Maximum inlet pressure is 50 Bar for the Lokomec RCV, while maximum allowed pressure is 10 Bar. The control curve of these manually operated remote control valves dictates that the maximum pressure limited or equals the inlet pressure.

The hand levers, which can be equipped with optional detents to keep the levers in position, are returned to the central position with springs. With single-lever valves, it is possible to remote control one WMH main control valve. With double-lever valves, users can manage one main control valve and one brake cylinder or two main control valves. The product is available with a choice of two or four control ports.

Valves with carbon steel bodies and covers have a primary two-component epoxy surface treatment. Those with stainless steel bodies and covers have no surface treatment. All valves feature stainless steel hand levers and bronze metal axles.
