Pressure-Compensated Flow Control Valve Regulates Flow and Offers Reverse Flow Check, Regardless of Pressure Fluctuation

HOUSTON, May 3, 2010 – The PCM1220S pressure-compensated flow control valve from Parker Hannifin, the global leader in motion and control technologies, is designed to regulate flow at a selected rate, within 5 percent, regardless of fluctuations in inlet and outlet pressure.

Available with reverse flow check, the valve offers a flow range between 10 LPM
(2.5 GPM) and 95 LPM (25 GPM), with a maximum reverse flow through check of
132 LPM (35 GPM). Its maximum operating pressure is 207 Bar (3000 PSI). Pressure drop at maximum reverse flow through check on this valve is 3 Bar (40 PSI). Other sizes are available will different flow rates.

The PCM1220S flow control valve features Parker’s exclusive “Colorflow” color-band reference scale on its stem, a great convenience and time saver that allows users to easily return to any previous valve setting. A simple set screw locks the valve at the desired setting. An optional tamperproof feature is also available that prevents accidental or intentional adjustment of flow setting.

The valve comes in 1 1/16-12 UN (SAE 12) port size. Additional port sizes and threads are also available. Operation temperatures range between -40°C to +121°C
(-40°F to +250°F) Nitrile (standard), and -26°C to +205°C (-15°F to +400°F) Flurocarbon.
